Incident Investigation

Aim

To provide personnel with the understanding of the fundamentals behind incident causation, to explain the purpose of carrying out incident investigations and the importance of reporting near misses and incidents.

We also aim to explain the difference between immediate causes and underlying causes of incidents and how to utilise correct analysis procedures as well as recognising effective remedial action to help prevent a recurrence.

Course Duration

This course can be delivered as a one day overview training package, or by expanding in more detail and preforming more in depth syndicate training practical lessons can be delivered over two days.
